Brendon was introduced to hot glass in 2002 while pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Whanganui, where he earned a diploma in Glass, specialising in hot glass processes and off-hand glassblowing techniques. in 2020, he joined Grinter glass, transitioning from his previous studio in Whanganui to take on the role of "gaffer" or chief glassblower, for Keith Grinter. 

Brendon is widely known for his signature colourful glass figurines and planes.
